Roadmap Genesis: Is it the magic key to success in life?

First off; Let me clarify by saying, I am a devout Creationist. I believe that the Bible is 100% true and should be our starting point before even looking at “science”. Why? Because the Bible IS a scientific “textbook” and should be treated that way. Anybody who cares to dispute that with me is free to do so; after you find 1 “scientific” claim that can be proven wrong from the Bible, and then we will start talking. J

Genesis: the Bible as a whole should be our starting point, our reference, if we want to correctly explain the world around us. It should be done with devout attention to the one who wrote it. It cannot co-exist with evolution, humanism, secular reasoning. It is either God and His writing/commands, or man’s rationale; not both. It saddens me to observe people who amalgamate Gods’ distinct record of the past and mans’ theory of history. So in my personal opinion, this film was disappointing and did not fulfill my expectations. Genesis is more than about “society and productivity”, it is the beginning of a beautiful story that ends with the cross, and should not be used as a “weapon for prosperity” that any individual regardless of beliefs can wield.

I have to say, from a filmmaker’s perspective; this film is brilliant, flawless, and completely intriguing. Nolan Lebovitz knows his craft well, and this film portrays it perfectly.  Entertaining and informational, “Roadmap Genesis” is a great movie if you want to see how little the American public actually knows about the Bible and books contained. I would possibly recommend this film as a tool for insight into Jewish culture and the Torah, as well as some encouragement to study the Bible in its Greek and Hebrew text for a deeper understanding of what God is conveying to us.

“Roadmap Genesis” is a film documentary that makes the case that the Book of Genesis is a roadmap containing guideposts on how to live a productive, fruitful, and fulfilling life that will help our society lift itself out of its current decline and return it to prosperity, promise, and accomplishment.
When Filmmaker Nolan Leibovitz found himself at a crossroads in his life, he knew he had to choose between continuing to make the Hollywood suspense thrillers that were his livelihood and trying to make the world a better place for his new young family. After much struggle, he found his answer in the Book of Genesis. He decided to combine his love of the Book of Genesis with his passion for filmmaking and set out to travel the United States, interviewing clergy and public figures in order to build an undeniable argument about the continued importance of the Book of Genesis as guiding force in our Judeo-Christian country.

“Roadmap Genesis” invites Americans of all faiths to engage in a dialogue about the relevance of the Bible in the modern age. Through interviews ranging from Gov. Mike Huckabee of Fox News Channel to Rabbi David Wolpe, from Alan Dershowitz to the Archbishop of Chicago Cardinal Francis George, from Erick Stakelbeck of the Christian Broadcasting Network to Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum, and many, many more, Nolan explores the rules that God has set forth to help us maintain a successful and working society.
