Being a VIP

So let me start out by saying that I am a musician, a fan, and a critic of great music. When I first received Manic Drive’s CD, I did not have high expectations just because of the front cover.
I anticipated that the music was going to all be this overdriven, overly dark, repetitive nonsense that would never see the light of day again and remain in my closet. I was pleasantly surprised when I inserted the CD and cranked the
stereo. This album was completely unique and very uplifting. A little bit of everything, from “almost dance” to an “almost worship”. VIP is an album you will want to get your hands on. Unique songs with classic hymn lines such as “How great thou Art” established in new melodies and tones, this is a great collection of up-beat tunes for either the car or headphones.
I had never heard of Manic Drive before- but after this experience, I will be looking out for their next album and the next time they do a concert somewhat locally.
Keep up the good work #ManicDrive, You have some good tunes going, keep the world alive.

ABOUT THE BAND:
Manic Drive has been widely known as a Canadian band who always delivers a great show, but over the past few years and project releases, they have added to their extensive touring of Canadian and US markets multiple Billboard Top 10 & 20 singles on CHR & Christian Rock Radio. Manic Drive is clearly very intentional about reaching their generation and inspiring them to pursue a deeper walk with Christ and to get involved in changing the world they are inheriting. And they are uniquely equipped to do so. The band members, all in their early-mid twenties, have made sacrifices to pursue God’s call on their lives. Their life experience, spiritual maturity and ministry have opened doors to speak into the lives of their own generation and that is perhaps the most defining characteristic of this group of guys.
